Bergen County law firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney with three to five years’ experience to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of both residential and commercial real estate transactions. This role involves providing expert legal counsel on property transactions, land use, zoning issues, real estate disputes. Landlord/tenant matters and tax appeals. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, title documents, and closing documents Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, sales, leasing, zoning regulations, and land use issues Manage due diligence processes including title searches, environmental assessments, and compliance reviews Represent clients in negotiations related to property transactions and disputes Handle litigation cases involving real estate disputes, landlord-tenant conflicts, or zoning challenges Handle tax appeals on County and State levels Stay informed on changes in laws affecting real estate and related legal fields Prepare detailed legal documents with precision and clarity while maintaining high standards of legal drafting Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to NJ/NY state bar is required Three to five years’ experience in real estate law with familiarity in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of resolving complex property disputes amicably or through litigation, if necessary Legal administrative experience including managing case files and documentation efficiently Exceptional analytical abilities combined with attention to detail in all aspects of legal work
