Hamood Law is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation. This role requires strong case management skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment, and a proactive approach to supporting trial preparation and client communication.ResponsibilitiesManage a high-volume caseload once cases are in the litigation phase. Draft, format, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenasCoordinate and track discovery, including document production, interrogatories, and depositionsAssist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness coordination, and trial bindersMaintain case calendars and track critical deadlinesCommunicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendorsReview, organize, and summarize medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentsAssist with deposition and trial schedulingEnsure compliance with court rules and filing procedures (state and federal)Support settlement preparation, including demand packages and mediation materialsQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 2–5 years of litigation paralegal experience (personal injury experience preferred)Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rulesExperience with e-filing systems (state and federal)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software (Clio preferred) Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred SkillsExperience in personal injury law and medical record reviewFamiliarity with billing, liens, and insurance documentationExperience preparing trial exhibits and assisting at trialKnowledge of Michigan court systems and proceduresWork Environment & ExpectationsFast-paced, deadline-driven environmentHigh attention to detail and accuracy requiredProfessional communication with clients and legal professionalsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentHamood Law is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse and inclusive workplace.
