Weir Attorneys is seeking an Associate Trial Attorney to join its civil litigation practice in Ewing, New Jersey. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of insurance defense matters and work closely with experienced trial attorneys while developing trial skills and taking ownership of cases. Primary Responsibilities · Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution · Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and case evaluations · Take and defend depositions · Attend and argue hearings, arbitrations, and trials · Communicate directly with clients and carriers · Work with partners on litigation strategy, case development, and firm growth · Take ownership of your cases and develop trial skills quickly Required Qualifications · Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school · Active license to practice law in New Jersey and in good standing · 3–5+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience preferred · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines Compensation and Benefits · Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses · Base salary starting at $125,000 for qualified candidates with jury trial experience · Partner-track opportunity with long-term growth potential · Mentorship and professional development with experienced trial attorneys To apply, please submit a resume (and writing sample if available).
