Kent & McBride, P.C. a Civil Defense litigation firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks an energetic Litigation Associate for its ever-growing practice. Responsibilities: In conjunction with more senior attorneys, conduct discovery and prepare cases for trial Make Court appearances for case management/status, settlement and pretrial conferences as well as motion hearings. Draft Motion papers and Appellate Briefs. Conduct Arbitration Hearings and Bench trials. Negotiate settlements. Minimum Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree with license to practice law in the State of New Jersey; additional admission in PA, and/or DE and/or NY a plus. Preferred Qualifications: 1-5 years of General Litigation experience (Writing/Trials). Courtroom experience. Excellent interpersonal skills (i.e., active listening, negotiation, persuasion).
