Matrimonial / Family Law Attorney

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Matrimonial / Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in matrimonial and family law. Trial experience is a plus. This role requires excellent legal research skills and the ability to navigate complex legal issues effectively. The attorney will represent clients in court, prepare legal documents, and provide strategic advice to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.DutiesRepresent clients in matrimonial and family law cases, including trials and hearings.  Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.  Prepare clients for depositions and court appearances.  Develop case strategies by analyzing evidence and formulating arguments.  Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.  Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive client service.ExperienceJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.Experience in litigation a plus (with a focus on family law, personal injury law, or estate
planning).Strong understanding of legal research methodologies and tools (Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw).Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about litigation and committed to providing
